Claypot Fun - 煲煲乐

A delicacy to introduce to everyone, not only those living in Singapore, but also our visitors. The food served in this resturant is really worthwhile to make a trip down, even though it is in a rather remote area of Singapore. Let's give you all the overview of this food haven.

Claypot Fun - 煲煲乐
902 East coast Parkway block B #01-11
Playground @ Big Splash S(449874)
Tel: 64407975
Website: www.claypotfun.com.sg

Biz Hours: Everyday from 11am to 11pm.

But one thing to take note for those impatient people. Always keep in mind, good things must wait. The waiting time for the food to be served is around 15-20 minutes as they are being prepared from scratch, so be patient.

Try the soups here, not bad. Another thing to mention about this place is that they are creating a 60's century atmosphere and the song are really retro.

The main character for the resturant, claypot rice @ $10.80 for 2 person serving. You can also choose to upgrade the size to jumbo for 3-4 pax servings.

You must also try some of the side dishes like this pig liver, really nice, but price a bit steep at $9 per plate.

Overall rating for this makan area is 9 out of 10.

Do give it a try and feel free to leave any comments whether you have this opinion too. Cheers.

Have you ever passed by this particular resturant in Marina Square or ever try their food? This resturant name caught our attention as it does resemble on the name "Bao Qin Tian", Justice Bao (this name should not be unfamiliar for those drama lovers). Hold your saliva as i will introduce you to some of the dishes we have tried.

Cheese Seafood Rice - it might look just like any baked rice being sold anywhere, but the taste can be considered 7 out of 10 in rating. The prawns are fresh and tasty. Give it a try if you are a baked rice lover and drop any comments or rating here to share your opinion

This bun is called "鹿鼎記",named after a chinese novel from Jin Yong. Why is it being called this? This is because this bun consists of deer meat.

Glutinous rice in bamboo slip - it is just simply just glutinous rice in bamboo slip (as described in the dish name)
